Died Wednesday, August 22, 2001 in Clearwater, FL. She was the wife of the late Carl Heicher of Farina, IL. She is survived by her son, Paul Heicher (Gayle) of Gallatin, TN; daughter, Carolee Lambird of Maryville, IL. She had seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her remains were donated to the University of Florida. Memorial Services will be held in Farina, IL on Saturday, August 26 at the Friedens United Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, give to your favorite charity.

Age 66, passed away after a short illness on April 13, 2007 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN, surrounded by family. Mrs. Heicher is survived by her loving husband, Paul; they were married in Vandalia, IL on March 10, 1961. She had a loving family, daughter. Rhonda (Billy) Jernigan of Pleasant View; son, Danny (Kim) Heicher of Murfreesboro, TN; granddaughter, Stacey (David) Roach of Coopertown. She is also survived by her brother, Terry Hunter of Detroit, MI; sister, Alice Faye Jordan of Ashland City, TN. Mrs. Heicher of Murfreesboro, was born near Nashville, TN on February 18, 1941, but lived most of her life in the Davidson, Sumner County area. She had also retired to Naples, FL for a short period of time. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, daughter, aunt and friend to all. She passed away as a Christian, attended the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Ashland City, TN. Mrs. Heicher was a dispensing license optician and owner of Eye Specs Inc. in Hermitage, TN. She later was a realtor for ERA Martin Realty in Portland, TN. Her hobbies included decorating, shopping, cooking and traveling. She attended school in Detroit, MI. She apprenticed under Dr. Fred Fine and Samuel Simon for three years to attain her license. She also went back to school at age 65 to receive her real estate license. Mrs. Heicher was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Lee and Lloyd Hunter, and daughter, Jennifer Fay Felts. Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. until funeral hour of 4 p.m.. Interment will be in the Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View, TN. Serving as Pallbearers will be Rusty and Scott Hutton, Arthur Jernigan, Pecos Farmer, Casey Milhorn and Dr. Fred Davis. Brother Mike Dankson of the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church will be officiating. As an option of flowers, donations are being accepted at Alive Hospice, Inc., 1710 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
